Originally from Vermont, I have lived in Maine, DC, and New York during my adult life. I love to travel and have been lucky to have had opportunities to travel for both business and pleasure around the US and abroad. I have traveled to the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Guatemala, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Iceland, Italy, Thailand, South Korea, the Philippines, and Japan. Additionally, I have spent prolonged periods of time in Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines for coursework, language immersion programs, and fieldwork.
When I am not working, I either knit and watch Star Trek, travel, play with my dogs, Jelly Bean and Norah, or enjoy New York’s natural beauty with my husband, Scott. I have always had a passion for learning new languages and actively study Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and Tagalog.
